Bill S-5 Information Session Details
The Canadian Environmental Protection Act Registry contains documents relating to the administration of CEPA. The Act governs a variety of environmental matters such as air and water pollution, waste management and toxic substances. It is an Act respecting pollution prevention and the protection of the environment and human health in order to contribute to sustainable development. The CEPA Review page is a source of public information related to parliamentary reviews of the act.
Our goal is for members to be fully informed about the chemicals being assessed by the government, the reasons why, the results of the assessment, and any proposed actions to be undertaken that may affect our members’ business.
CA’s strategy is to actively monitor the CEPA Registry for chemicals being added that are important to the cosmetics and personal care products industry, inform members in a timely manner, and provide counsel on the necessary actions that need to be taken.
