    Cosmetics Alliance will be hosting a free webinar with the Director General of Cosmetics Europe, John Chave and CA’s Regulatory Director, Beta Montemayor, to discuss the newly Proposed Microplastics Restrictions under Europe’s Chemical Management Program (REACh). These restrictions have potentially far-reaching and significant consequences that could affect many polymers critical to products in the cosmetics and personal care products industry.     John was educated at the Universities of Sheffield and Exeter in the UK. He is a lawyer by training and has worked in the health field in both London and Brussels. He was Secretary General of the Pharmaceutical Group of the European Union (PGEU), a post he held from 2006 to 2015. Since then, he has been Director General of Cosmetics Europe.
    Beta Montemayor
    Director, Science, Regulation & Market Access – Cosmetics Alliance
    Beta is a graduate of the University of Guelph. He is a toxicologist and risk assessor by training, bringing over 20 years of experience as a regulatory scientist and technical consultant to the specialty chemicals, cosmetic, personal care, and health products industries.

    Cosmetic Alliance Canada’s Regulatory Workshops provides members with the opportunity to stay up-to-date and informed on “everything regulatory”. You will not want to miss this opportunity to hear from government officials and Cosmetics Alliance staff first-hand on issues that will directly affect your business. Cosmetics Alliance will be hosting Member Engagement Session at the end of the Workshop followed by a reception so be sure to attend for the whole day.
