Embedded in this budget bill (at section 597 (1), which amends 74.01 (1) (b.2) of the Competition Act) amended this Act to remove the requirement to use “internationally recognized methodology” to substantiate protection or restoring the environment or mitigating the environmental and ecological causes or effects of climate change.
