The Global Environmental Safety Science Program (GESSP) is an environmental science collaboration between Cosmetics Alliance Canada (CAC), Cosmetics Europe (CE), European Federation of Cosmetic Ingredients, Japanese Cosmetic Industry Association (JCIA), and the US Personal Care Products Council (PCPC). As part of the Global Environmental Safety Science Program (GESSP), a new Screening Database has been developed to help the cosmetics industry identify environmental priorities and address data gaps. This tool consolidates key physical, chemical, and ecotoxicity data for approximately 1,800 organic chemicals used in cosmetic products.
To introduce this important tool, the GESSP Team will host two webinars next week. We encourage all CAC’s committee members to attend.
