On November, 22, 2025, the Updated Publication Summary and the Proposed Risk Management Approach were published for a 60-day public comment period. These substances are proposed to meet the Section 64 criteria of CEPA and are prosed for listing in Part 2 of Schedule 1. With respect to TPHP, use in nail care products is discussed in the Risk Management Approach. Addition to the Hot List could be considered as a risk management option. Members engaged with this substance are encouraged to read the document and provide feedback, as soon as possible, to the CA regulatory team at regulatory@cosmeticsalliance.ca. The comment period will end January 21, 2026.
