The European Commission is updating the official list of common ingredient names that must be on cosmetic labels. The list from 2022 is outdated and will be replaced with the new list as shown here. Please note for colorants except hair dyes the CI number should be listed on the label. The new list will be officially implemented on July 30, 2026, but companies can start implementing the new list by July 30, 2025.
