ICL Prioritization Work Continues

Building on the workload management approach to prioritize and de-prioritize Class III NHP applications, this pilot has been expanded to now include Class II applications meeting the following criteria:

  • A new application for a product that is to be sold in Canada within six months of being licensed
  • Amendments to authorized and market notified NHPs, or authorized products to be sold in Canada within six months of being revised, regardless of the nature of the change(s)
  • An application or an amendment for a product that is or will be manufactured in Canada within six months of being licensed.

The expansion applies to applications received on or after Juin 9th where applicants wishing to have prioritization are required to complete one of the two Workload Management Forms.  Applications received prior to Juin 9th will be reviewed prior to those received on or after this date.
