Health Canada is increasing transparency for the NHP industry by announcing that NHP GMP inspection results will be publicly available on the Drug and Health Product Inspection Database (DHPID) starting Octobre 29, 2025. This change aligns NHP oversight with other regulated health product sectors like drugs and medical devices. The DHPID is a public resource that will provide detailed inspection information, including dates, compliance ratings, key observations, and regulatory actions taken. This information is being shared with stakeholders and will also be sent directly to site licence holders, along with a bulletin and Q&A document. Cosmetics Alliance will also inform members once it is published.
