These and other factors have added challenges to the already complex task of managing cosmetic product claims. Compounding this is the fact that most companies are using manual\, disparate systems for claims management.\n\nGiven current trends and the pace of change in cosmetics\, it’s likely that claims management will get considerably more complex in the not too distant future. Companies without the proper systems and processes in place could be in for a rude awakening.\nHear from product claims management expert John Cooper about how the latest cosmetics trends such as personalization\, the rise of influencers\, wellness\, and accompanying supply chain challenges are merging to further complicate claims management in the cosmetics category. John will also present findings from recent third party research on claims management challenges\, and offer recommendations to help your team prepare for what lies ahead.\n\n\nThe CA Update\n\n\n\n\n\n\nCA President\, Darren Praznik will provide an informative update on critical issues including:\n\n\nDevelopment of the Self-Care Framework;\nExpansion of Health Canada’s pilot for sunscreens;\nStatus of the animal testing ban legislation in Canada;\nBrexit and what will be happening with Canadian exports to the UK;\nImplementation of the new NAFTA agreement; and\nOther developments important to YOUR business!\n\nDarren will also provide an overview of the International Coordination of Cosmetic Regulation (ICCR) which is being hosted in Montreal this July and will being together regulators representing over half of the world’s cosmetics market!\n\n\n\nThe Networking Opportunity\nThis is a great opportunity for you to meet and dialogue with your industry colleagues as well as share some refreshments.
